This will be our third year participating in the March for Babies. The first year we did, Eion, our miracle preemie, was 7 months old. The second year, he was one, but his sister was only 2 weeks old, and the walk was on her original due date.

This year's is scheduled for May 1st. 2010. Eion will be 2 1/2, and Emma will be almost one.

Our goal is the same as always, $260 representing $10 for every day Eion was in the NICU. Of course, this is not an accurate representation of the real value of his stay. Monetary wise it, was closer to $6000 a day. Fortunately we have very good insurance.

Here you will find pictures of Eion from then up to now. Hopefully they will show what he went through and how he has grown. Hopefully it will help you see how important the March of Dimes' support and research is.
